Spring Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl

This isn't just breakfast. It's a skin treatment you can taste. Feed your glow from the inside out with every single spoonful.

Spring Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl with kiwi, hemp seeds, granola, honey drizzle, coconut and mint

At The Gourmet Spa, we believe true skin glow starts from the inside. The most beautiful complexion comes from what you put IN your body just as much as what you put ON it. This Spring Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl is our ultimate inside-out beauty treatment.  It is packed with collagen-supporting, antioxidant-rich, skin-feeding ingredients that taste absolutely incredible.

Make it on a Saturday morning while your face mask is on. Eat it in the sunshine. Tell your skin you love it. 🌿

Ingredients

Serves 1 · Prep: 5 minutes · Skin Benefit: Glow + Collagen Support + Deep Hydration

Blend (Base)

🍌 1 frozen banana
🥑 1/2 ripe avocado
🌿 1 cup fresh baby spinach
🥥 1/2 cup coconut milk
💚 1 tsp spirulina powder
✨ 1 tbsp collagen peptides
🍋 Juice of 1/2 lime

Toppings

🥝 Sliced kiwi (Vitamin C!)
🌱 Hemp seeds (omega fatty acids)
🌾 Granola for crunch
🌿 Fresh mint leaves
🍯 Drizzle of raw honey
🐝 Sprinkle of bee pollen
🥥 Shredded coconut

How to Make It

Add all base ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth and a brilliant, vibrant green. The texture should be thick enough to hold your toppings so if it's too thin, add a few more frozen banana slices or a small handful of ice.

Pour into a chilled bowl. Then comes the fun part:  arrange your toppings in rows or sections, making it as beautiful as you like. Yes, it should look Instagram-worthy. You deserve beauty in every form.

Finish with the honey drizzle and serve immediately.

Why Your Skin Absolutely Loves This Bowl

Avocado is loaded with monounsaturated fatty acids and Vitamin E which are two things your skin needs to stay supple, smooth, and protected. The healthy fats also help your body absorb fat-soluble nutrients from the other ingredients.

Spinach is one of the best skin foods on the planet. Rich in folate, iron, and Vitamins A and C, it supports healthy circulation (that natural flush of color!), cell repair, and collagen synthesis.

Spirulina is among the most nutrient-dense foods on earth. This blue-green algae is packed with protein, B vitamins, iron, and powerful antioxidants that fight oxidative stress and support a clear, radiant complexion.

Collagen Peptides provide your body with the building blocks it needs to produce its own collagen which is the protein responsible for firm, plump, youthful-looking skin. Collagen production naturally slows after age 25, so supplementing through diet is one of the smartest things you can do.

Kiwi is one of the highest Vitamin C fruits per serving. Vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis and also acts as a powerful antioxidant that protects against UV damage and environmental stress.

Hemp Seeds are rich in Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids in the ideal ratio for skin health which supports the lipid barrier, reduces inflammation, and keeps skin deeply moisturized from within.

💡 Where to Find Spirulina

Look for organic spirulina powder at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Natural Grocers, or Amazon. Brands like Nutrex Hawaii are widely trusted. Go for powder rather than capsules for smoothie use.  A little goes a long way!
