DIY Sugar Soufflé Bars: A Sweet, Spa-Worthy Treat for Silky Skin

If you’re looking for a fun, giftable DIY that leaves your skin soft, smooth, and glowing, Sugar Soufflé Bars are your new go-to. These little bars melt on contact, exfoliate gently, and smell deliciously sweet.

They’re easy to make, perfect for gifting, and turn your bath or shower into an instant spa moment.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup beeswax pellets (or candelilla wax for vegan - use less as it is harder than beeswax)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa butter
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Optional: vanilla extract or citrus zest

How to Make Them

  1. Melt the wax and butters in a double boiler over low heat.  Melt the wax pellets first as they take the longest.  Once mostly melted add the cocoa butter and coconut oil until fully combined and smooth.  Do not overheat.
  2. Stir in the sugar and optional fragrance additions.
  3. Pour into silicone molds (hearts, flowers, and candy shapes work beautifully).
  4. Let cool until solid, then pop out and store.

How to Use

Rub a bar on damp skin in the bath or shower. The sugar buffs away dryness while the butter melts into a silky finish.

Gift Idea

Wrap in parchment or wax paper, tie with ribbon, and tuck into a jar for a beautiful handmade gift.
